GRAVES AT SEA - DOCUMENTS OF GRIEF LP

GRAVES AT SEA from Arizona have made a lot of noise in the underground the past few years. Already considered one of the best Doom bands in existence the band has yet to issue their debut LP (coming later this year on a much bigger label)! Documents Of Grief was self-released by the band back in 2003 and quickly sold out and hasn’t been seen since. The band followed it up with an EP for the SOUTHERN LORD 7 inch series and then last years highly praised split album with ASUNDER (released by 20 BUCK SPIN on vinyl). 20 BUCK SPIN loved Documents Of Grief so much that we convinced the band to let us release it officially in anticipation of their debut LP and their upcoming May 2006 tour, and for those who missed out before. This is an essential, er, document of Doom’s present and future! For Vinyl: CANADIANS & MEXICANS ADD$5. OUTSIDE NORTH AMERICA PLEASE CONTACT US DIRECTLY FOR SHIPPING RATES.

GRAVES AT SEA / ASUNDER SPLIT LP

GRAVES AT SEA / ASUNDER SPLIT CD

The cult Split LP between two West Coast doom powerhouses. Side A has two songs by Graves At Sea containing there strongest and catchiest songs yet, while remaining sick as fuck. Pariah is one of the best doom/sludge songs of all time that'll stay stuck in your head for days at a time. Reclamation continues the devastation in the unique Graves At Sea style. Previously Graves released a 4 track demo, and a 7" on Southern Lord. They look to be a major force when they finally release their debut LP, hopefully during 2006. Each track is over 10 minutes long.
Asunder return after their stunning A Clarion Call record on Life Is Abuse. Their tracks takes up the entire B-side here, continuing in their earliest era Anathema meets the Oakland gutter style. Dino's (of Dystopia) drumming is impeccable as always and the killer riffs and mournful howls from guitarists Geoff (Skaven) and John (Weakling) churn the bowls and empty the tear ducts all at once. If you're happy, leave now.
This LP was a gatefold with artwork by David D' Andrea. It came with a huge poster. There were 300 copies on white vinyl, and 700 sworn to the black.
