Bastard Noise has posted a NEW TRACK titled “Mutant World Of Shame” from their upcoming split CD / LP with The Endless Blockade on their myspace page. It is the first recording they’ve done with the new lineup, and their new direction, which marks a fusing of the modern BN sound with the bass-driven powerviolence of old Man Is The Bastard. The CD version of the split will be released by 20 Buck Spin. The LP version by Deep Six. The CD will contain extra material. We expect an Autumn release for this beast.

On August 25th 20 Buck Spin will release the full length album Renihilation by Liturgy from Brooklyn, NY. CD will come first, vinyl will follow eventually. As some of you may have heard already Hammers Of Misfortune is hittin’ the road on the East Coast in support of last year’s 2xLP Fields / Church Of Broken Glass. Cobbett’s other band, America’s best black metal band, Ludicra, will also play all dates. July 2nd Hammers opens for Pentagram in SF. Here’s the dates:

For some reason Amazon.com (and maybe some other places?) has 20 Buck Spin listed as the label for some Loop reissues happening soon. That is a mistake. We are not doing any Loop reissues and are not involved with that band in any way. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
We are back in the States after our long visit to the Roman Empire (and the Coffins/Stormcrow tour before that). We are however not yet returned to our deadquarters in Olympia. We thank you for your patience if you’ve been waiting on an order. They will be shipping as soon as we return in about a week. Although the sliding scale percentage discounts in the store ended with the month of May, the hugely popular package deals, as well as the reduced prices on older 20 Buck Spin catalog titles will continue to remain in effect for now. After over a month away and seeing many great and noble lands we are eager to return to the halls of our fathers and continue the work of the people. Much more news to come very soon. The second half of the year is looking to be much busier than the first half, release-wise.
