Very excited about this one. Mournful’s first two demo’s each about a full length on its own, compiled onto a 2xLP. These were recorded in ’94 and ’95 respectively – half a lifetime ago for us! Limited to a scant 500.
We got the Vestal Claret 2xLP ‘Bloodbath’ in stock today. Occult, Horror Doom or whatever you like to call it, it’s good shit. And it’s got Phil Swanson on vocals, one of our personal faves from the new gods Hour Of 13. Check out an album preview below.
Orders will be delayed a few days due to snowstorm conditions in the Northwest. I’m sure for some people this wouldn’t be considered severe but here we are getting twice the annual snowfall in about 24 hours and the infrastructure to deal with it is not in place in Western Washington. Apologies for the inconvenience as we dig our way out this clusterfuck.
Lots of quality real metal in stock today. Paul Chain’s ‘Vivid Eyes In The Dark’ LP contains two more side long tracks from 1984, “Pentagon Society” & “Vivid Eyes In The Dark”. Two late 90s LPs from the mighty Jag Panzer one of the best unsung American metal bands. These two ‘The Fourth Judgement’ and ‘Age Of Mastery’ were originally released on CD only by Century Media. Quality American Heavy Metal. Krux is a project of the Doom god Leif Edling from Candlemass. This is their third LP and it features Jorgen from Grave as well as members of Opeth and Nifelheim. Ignore the shitty cover art and check out a track below. The latest from Satan’s Host and Agincourt are also now available.
A release we’ve been long waiting for. The latest output from Teitanblood. Their Seven Chalices LP was pretty much our #1 album of the last decade, and with Purging Tongues, we are not disappointed. Death Metal done in their unique, frightening style. B-side has an etching done in the hand-scrawled calligraphy found in their artwork. Also in today is Blutleuchte, a beautifully printed book edition of Aorta & Ahnstern, which was a collection of writing done by Gerhard from Allerseelen during the 90s. This book is in English translated from the original German texts. For the seekers.
“Today we’re posting the cover artwork for the upcoming Chips & Beer #2 to be released in a few weeks. There is a lot more content than what is listed on the cover and a full lineup will be posted in the near future. For now, enjoy the incredible art from our own staff illustrator, the incomparable Beaver.” – The Chips & Beer Staff
